These shots were separated out from the Rio Grande Gorge gallery, to reduce its size. I'm playing with the filters in Adobe Lightroom here, trying the Red filters (regular and high contrast). There is an infared filter, but I haven't used it, even though the high contrast shots may look like that.

The height of these mountains, north of Taos, is quite spectacular. I've tried to include some items in the shots to establish the scale, but you really have to go there to appreciate it.
